Short Reviews....

February 15, 2018

A Stranger in the House by Shari LaPena

Rating : 4/5 **Synopsis can be found on Good Reads.**

My Review:

I had been delaying this review because my feelings about this book were a little conflicted which I believe is okay. Sometimes we like books and we just don't love them. This book has everything you expect from a Thriller ( page-turning effect , addictive , compelling ) . There was one thing that ruined this book for me and it was the predictability of the book. I don't think this was necessarily due to the fact that I have been reading tons of thrillers. Even though I didn't love this book I still 100% recommend this book because I love the way Shari Lapena seems to keep us enthralled in her books. As with The Couple Next Door you think you've narrowed everything down when in fact you haven't. If you love thrillers read this it's quick and easy to read.

Lullaby Road by James Anderson

Rating 3.5/5 ** Synopsis can be found at Good Reads**

My Review: Let me tell you guys I wanted to love this book so badly because not only is the story-line super interesting but the book is amazing. Its so beautifully done and it's stunning. This book is not bad it just lacks back story for me and that is because it is the second book in a series and I have't read the first. I haven't given up on it. I think once I read the first this one will make sense and all the confusion will be put to rest for me. I want to thank Blogging for Books for this copy in exchange for an honest review.

The Teddy Bear Chronicles by Donnalyn Vojta

Overall Rating : 5/5 **Synopsis can be found at Good Reads.**

I should've started with this one because even after months of reading this book I remember it.

I think it has to do with the unique element of being told by Teddy Bears as the title tells you. This book is the perfect combination of thriller and a contemporary romance novel. If you are new to the thriller genre I think this is a great starter because it's not to hard to read and honestly it's not that predictable.

I wanted to write shorter reviews on some books I have read because sometimes I don't have a whole lot to be said of books that I have read but I still recommend them. All three of these books are great quick and easy reads.

Thanks

-C
